In February 2021, residents of Texas suffered through rolling blackouts during a period of unprecedented extreme cold. While power went out there and elsewhere across the Midwest, it continued flowing for members of electric co-ops served by power suppliers Associated Electric Cooperative and Wabash Valley Power Alliance.
