Children’s Books
Electricity is a big part of everyday life, from nightlights and charging tablets to heating and cooling our homes. Your local electric cooperative helps make this possible, and these books are a fun way to help kids understand how it all works.
Created by electric co-op communicators at Co-Mo Connect in Missouri, the Cat & Duck book series and A Lineworker’s Day are designed to help young readers learn about electric cooperatives, the people who keep the lights on and how to stay safe around electricity.
Be sure to check out the coloring and activity pages and games at the bottom of the Cat & Duck website.

Proud to Sponsor Missouri’s Kids
We are proud of our Missouri scholars and athletes who work hard to make it to the championships.
Your electric cooperative is pleased to be a sponsor of the Missouri State High School Activities Association because we share similar goals for our kids. The MSHSAA aims to develop citizens who will positively contribute to their community, and we couldn’t agree more.
We know you only want what is best for your kids, and we want what is best for you, our member.
