For the good of all
Think of an organization that you have a stake in, such as a civic organization or church. Or imagine you own a business with several friends or family members.
For the organization or business to be successful, each person involved must realize decisions should be made based on what is best for the collective group, not just what is best for one individual.
Each owner must make an equal payment for supplies, rent, or any other business expense. If one owner fails to make the payments, the others must pay more to make up for the cost, or the business suffers.
When decisions are made for new equipment or technology to invest in, they must be made to help the business grow, not because one of the members wants the latest and greatest for their personal use.
This is same way your electric cooperative operates. We make decisions based on what is best for all our members, and what is best for our future members.
